Utilising a variety of public funding partners, Lulaway connects South African youth, particularly matriculants and TVET graduates, with companies across various sectors. In our experience, youths that were prepared for the realities of the working world and spent 12 months exposed to the work environment, found permanent employment within their designated hosts or other similar companies.
The project features customized reporting through a live dashboard that tracks every intern’s progress, enabling transparent communication between all stakeholders. This includes real-time metrics on skills acquisition, SME growth, and permanent placements. The live reporting system allows employers and sponsors to monitor the overall impact of the program, ensuring accountability and offering a full assessment of the project's outcomes.
