My journey with Lulaway began in 2022 when I was offered a one-year contract to work at Alex FM as an intern sports anchor and sports journalist. This opportunity was a pivotal moment in my career. Lulaway provided not just a platform but the support I needed to grow. The stipend they offered enabled me to travel and cover various events, gaining firsthand experience in the field. Despite entering radio with no prior experience but a journalism qualification. I am truly grateful for Lulaway’s support. Their program laid a solid foundation for my career, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without their guidance and opportunities.
We successfully placed 7,810 unemployed youths into private sector roles, overseeing every aspect of stipend payroll management, including timesheets, VAT, and PAYE. Additionally, we provided thorough reporting on project deliverables, complete with verified payroll extracts, proof of payments, and signed timesheets, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project.
