Private sector youth placements, stipend & project management
I am from Alberton. I received an internship opportunity through Lulaway, which went exceptionally well. I successfully completed the 12-month program, which significantly enhanced my skills and opened new opportunities for me in the industry.
We recruited 23 unemployed youth for SITA's YES internship program, providing work-readiness training to equip them with essential skills. The project also included vetting and selecting small businesses as host companies for the interns, placing and tracking their progress, and managing their performance at these hosts. Regular reporting to SITA was provided, ensuring transparency and tracking the progress of all interns throughout the program.
