We successfully installed 30 solar geysers in indigent households in Hopefield, Gauteng, as part of a project with a budget of R201,498,000. Additionally, 100 solar geysers were installed in indigent households in Atlantis, Western Cape, further supporting energy sustainability and improving living conditions for these communities.
The project also entailed the placement of 4 unemployed youth as geyser technicians to install and maintain the geyesers for one year. These youths gained basic plumbing and maintenance skills.
