Tshwane Sun

February 8, 2017

Centre Manager, Charles Malatjie, told the Tshwane Sun that the job centre is exciting to all, as most of the youth would have to travel to town, Mamelodi or other areas to get this service, but now the service is in their neighbourhood.
He further explained that for the Department of Social Development and other partners to link with them means that they are doing something right. "We have been known within the township as an organisation that educates and develops the community, especially youth, with skills in computers, call centres, cashiers, administration and security, with the aim of helping them to get them jobs. Now we will succeed in placing them in suitable jobs."
The Project Manager of Rearabilwe, Ms Rahab Phoku, is encouraging the youth to make use of the opportunities that are available within Rearabilwe as a community centre. She said, "We are a one-stop centre within the west of Pretoria offering social programmes like food parcels to the needy, training life skills to the community free of charge, computer skills and other technical skills, and then offer them job opportunities. We challenge them to come and seek advice, help and skills at our centre."
